The PG16 Nylon Funnel Gland provides a clean, secure entry point for flat cable into a hoist control enclosure, pendant station or junction box. The funnel-shaped body guides flat cable through the aperture without pinching or distorting the conductors, while supporting the cable as it exits the housing — reducing strain on internal terminations and protecting against the flexing and vibration typical of hoist and crane duty.
 
Moulded in nylon, it won't corrode, rust or seize the way metal fittings can in damp or washdown environments, and its non-conductive body removes any risk of creating an unintended path to the enclosure wall. The material is light, tough and impact-resistant — a practical choice for pendant assemblies where added weight is unwelcome.
Sized to accept both 4 core x 1.5mm² and 4 core x 2.5mm² flat cable, it fits a standard 23mm mounting hole and threads directly into PG16 entries.
