The PG21 Nylon Funnel Gland provides a secure entry point for heavier and multi-core flat cable into a hoist control enclosure, pendant station or junction box. The funnel-shaped body guides flat cable cleanly through the aperture without pinching or distorting the conductors, while supporting the cable as it exits the housing — reducing strain on internal terminations and protecting against the flexing and vibration typical of hoist and crane duty.
 
Moulded in nylon, it won't corrode, rust or seize the way metal fittings can in damp or washdown environments, and its non-conductive body removes any risk of creating an unintended path to the enclosure wall. The material is light, tough and impact-resistant — worth having on heavier cable runs where the gland is already carrying load.
Its larger PG21 body covers a wide span of cable sizes, from 4 core x 4mm² up to 4 core x 16mm², as well as 8 core x 1.5mm² and 8 core x 2.5mm² flat cable — making it a practical single-part solution for heavier power feeds and higher-count control cable alike. Fits a standard 28mm mounting hole.
